European GNSS

The world of satellite navigation is evolving fast and numerous initiatives are being launched in the whole European Union. Indeed, due to the high potential of the GNSS market, more and more national, regional or local actors have decided to launch proactive economic development policy in the field of GNSS.

The permanent exchange of information and the implementation of adequate mechanisms to improve the synergies between such initiatives are seen as very necessary by the EU institutions and in particular by the European GNSS Agency (GSA).

In this overall context, the GSA has launched a Coordination and Support Action called PEGASE, an objective of which is to collect information on GNSS-related national, regional and local Galileo/EGNOS-related initiatives. The information collected by PEGASE is made available on this website.
